Vixen is a big, solid, friendly girl. Her 2.5 year old teeth have also not yet come out but mentally she's much older than Tahni. She's showing signs of the pending 2-3 year old "teenage" years in horses, growing from a baby to figuring out who she will be as a mare. Vixen is 14.1 hands right now and will probably end up around 14.3-15 hands. She loves attention and is super smart and soaks up learning. She does have a bit of a stubborn streak but it's not mean, she's just going to have a bit of an opinion to things. She is normally easy to catch and lead, though sometimes she doesn't want to leave her friends. She ties, stands for grooming and fly spray, is good for the farrier, is learning how to lunge and respond to verbal cues and has been saddled, loads and trailers nicely, even alone, and has been taken to a jackpot barrel racing event and did well with all the activity and new things. We normally are not fans of starting two year olds under saddle but because she's so eager to learn we are considering backing her and doing a few light walk rides yet this fall. We don't think she's going to be difficult to train at all. As you can see, she's a very easy keeper.
