Lauren is a lovely mustang filly who has uveitis and is going blind. She came to GSH in November of 2016 during a crisis at ISPMB involving county impoundment and seizure, overcrowding and lack of resources. She suffered a miscarriage shortly after arrival and was tested for Leptospirosis which indicated she probably was exposed in the past but was not in an active outbreak. She is a very kind, friendly mare who learns quickly and is easy to handle. With training, she will likely be fine for lead line with small children. She absolutely loves people and attention and is looking for a home who will see her as a pet more than a riding horse.
