A gentle word, a kind look, a good-natured smile can work wonders and accomplish miracles.
If you are looking to adopt one of our horses, looking to donate/volunteer, need help with your horse, or just in general have questions or comments, please feel free to contact us. We do all work full time jobs, so please be patient, but we will contact you as quickly as we can. Please be sure and review our policies (Adoption and/or Equine Donation especially) before submitting. Be aware that we do require a time or financial donation on equine donations, which can be waived for hardship by a vote of our Board of Directors. If you are ready to start the adoption process, please fill out our Adoption Application. Thanks!
Please note: we are open by appointment only, and currently only for potential adopters, volunteers, and youth groups. Please watch our Facebook page for events if you would just like a tour. Thank you!

Why no phone number?
We require ALL intake and adoption requests to be made via this contact form, to maintain a written record of all communication and timestamps of when requests are made. After we've communicated via email a few times we will contact you by phone, but any requests/contact/etc via phone as initial contact will not be seen as an official request until we receive a follow up email. Additionally, all intake requests and adoption inquiries must be routed to the person responsible for those requests, as that person has the final say on waiting list order and availability. Any contact made with any other person that is not followed up with email to the appropriate person is not an official contact.
Additionally, all GSH caretakers work full time jobs and spend several hours a day doing direct care and training of our horses. It is very difficult to reach us by phone in all but the most emergent situations.
Non-Discrimination: Gentle Spirit Horses does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our staff, clients, volunteers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
