Time for a big welcome for our newest owner surrender! Meet Lucia, a beautiful 16.1 hand Appendix mare (no papers) who is likely somewhere around 11 years old based on her teeth and the age the owner was told she was when she got her. She was very loved but simply too tall for her owner. This lovely girl is very friendly and so far has great manners, and is trained to ride but hasn't been ridden in a while. She has pulled back while tied in the past so we'll be working on that. While she won't be evaluated until after the
Dakota Showdown Horse Trainer Challenge next weekend, we look forward to getting to know her and finding her the perfect new home!
