This little guy is Mato (pronounced Mah-toe, means "bear" in Lakota). He came from a young man on the Lower Brule Reservation along with Ina, Tahni, Gleska, and Chikala. He has his baby teeth so is a long yearling, and is so far the friendliest of the bunch. He was relatively easy to catch, leads, ties, backs, let me groom him all over and play with his ears, and picked up his front feet. He needs his feet done, deworming and groceries but is also going to be ready to go to a home that can provide his care pretty quickly.
