Daisy is a healthy 9 year old pony mare who came in to GSH as an owner donation with her friend Nelly, who was emaciated and in dire need of having her teeth floated and feed. Daisy was in great shape, in face a little overweight! Our initial evaluation finds her to be very well broke and easy to handle. She likes people and attention and our riders have ridden her walk/trot/canter both with a saddle and bareback. Everyone adores her and she's a super good pony. She's stocky enough that an adult can easily do tune up rides or can be ridden regularly by small adults, and is one of the few that we will go out on a limb and say is suitable for children, especially confident ones with some riding experience. We will be having some beginner kids out this week to see how she is with beginner riders.
