Luna is from the International Society for the Protection of Mustangs and Burros, and came to GSH in December of 2016 during a crisis at ISPMB involving county impoundment and seizure, overcrowding and lack of resources. Luna has already been gentled and is working on leading and handling. She's a sweet girl but a little picky as to who she trusts and lets touch her right now. She's an absolutely beautiful girl who we suspect will stay on the smaller side, probably approximately 14.1-14.2 hands at maturity. She's smart and learning fast, and will have her first farrier trim next week. She is ready for a home and is going to make someone VERY happy.
***May 2017 Update*** Luna is doing very well in her ground work training. She is currently wearing a break away halter as she can still be a bit hard to catch. She is very athletic and smart. Luna can have days where she is hyperactive and would do well in a home that can handle a three year old with lots of energy.
