Eliana is from the International Society for the Protection of Mustangs and Burros, and came to GSH in December of 2016 during a crisis at ISPMB involving county impoundment and seizure, overcrowding and lack of resources. Eliana is heavily bonded to Stella and Vanessa, who we suspect are her sister and mother, respectively. She's one of the friendliest of all of the recent intakes and will start her gentling in January.
***May 2017 Update*** Eliana is doing wonderfully and has become a happy healthy 2 year old. Due to her age we will not be starting her under saddle this summer but she has been working on halter training and has started lunging in the round pen. This girl floats when she moves and would be an amazing hunt or dressage horse with her natural carriage. She currently has a break away halter on for ease of catching but should be graduating out of that in the next month or two as she has become very easy to catch and lead. She is more than ready to find her permanent home. Will you be it?
