Many have forgotten this truth, but we must never forget it... we remain forever responsible for that which we have tamed.
1 year old Mustang Gelding
Orion is a smart and curious coming 2 year old gelding. This summer he has been participating in our So You Think You Can Train challenge and has been learning to lead, load on a trailer, stand quietly, yielding to pressure on the ground, and standing for the farrier.
4 year old Mule Gelding
Check out this hunka-hunka-burning-mule that is back in South Dakota! It's Emmett, who is a gorgeous pony mule. He has decided that he is smarter, faster, braver, and all around just better than everyone. So, back to South Dakota he has come to learn some manners and start driving training!
8 year old Pony Mare
Patty Sue was an owner surrender, and was caught between a dispute over boarding fees. She had been run through a barbed wire fence and badly hurt, but was only receiving the basics of care due to the dispute. She was half blind on intake and though she is well behaved she is slow to trust.
Mariah (Little Miss Misdemeanor)
10 year old Morgan Mare
Mariah is a well loved, well trained Morgan mare. She is insulin resistant so will need to be on a dry lot with only grass hay. She gets laminitic with alfalfa, pasture grass, or grains. Though she's currently barefoot but our farrier believes she would benefit greatly from Natural Balance shoes.
