Eliana is doing wonderfully and had become a happy healthy young mare. This girl floats when she moves and would be an amazing hunt or dressage horse with her natural carriage. Eliana lies, leads, is easy to catch, is good for the farrier and loads onto a trailer well. She is more than ready to find her permanent home. Will you be it?

Casper is a friendly kind boy who loves his food and hanging out with our miniatures. He is leads on a halter and is learning all about patience. Casper is blind in one eye due to an old injury but since he sustained the injury early in his life it doesn't bother him at all.

12 year old Quarter Horse Gelding
Jack came to GSH as part of a large seizure from Kingsbury County, South Dakota. He has been gelded and has been good to lead and load onto a trailer. Jack still struggles with his weight and is on a high fat diet, he is going to be a big boy! Jack has accepted a saddle and a rider. He has not been evaluated off of a lead rope as of yet.
12 year old Quarter Horse Mare
Tess is a big sweet quarter horse mare who came to GSH as part of a large seizure from Kingsbury County, South Dakota. Her registered name is likely Crystal Leo Maudie. HYPP N/N.
Tess has gained a ton of weight since coming to GSH. She leads, ties, and round pens well. She has accepted a saddle but we have not had time to evaluate her riding as of yet.
6 year old Quarter Horse Gelding
Louie came to GSH as part of a large seizure from Kingsbury County, South Dakota. Louie is a very gentle former stallion, leads well, is easy to catch and loads onto a trailer. Due to his late life gelding, Louie is currently struggling with weight fluctuation so he is currently on a high calorie diet. Overall, Louie is a blank slate that is ready to find his permanent home.
6 year old Quarter Horse Mare
Ina is a sweet but still independent quarter horse mare who is easy to bribe with treats. Ina leads, ties and has been started under saddle. Due to the weather, we have not been able to evaluate Ina's saddle training as of yet. She has accepted a bareback saddle but needs to work on her ground manners before we saddle her completely.
6 year old Mustang Mare
Connie is a beautiful young mustang who is smart and a fast learner. She's working on her ground work and will stand for the farrier, load onto a trailer and will put a winter blanket on. Connie had taken a bit longer to mature mentally but we hope to start her under saddle this spring if she is still with us!
17 year old Quarter Horse Mare
Xena came to GSH as part of a large seizure of horses from Kingsbury County, South Dakota. At this time we are 85% sure that she is bred and expecting a foal any day now. Xena is a thinker and extremely smart. She needs someone who will work on her timeline but still will be strong enough for her not to get her own way. Once she gets something she has it though! We have not been working on training with Xena due to her possible pregnancy.
10 year old Appaloosa Mare
Faith is a beautiful, sweet POA, easy to catch and with good ground manners so far. She's easy going and has been ridden extensively. Faith does have heaves and will need a home that would be willing to continue her heaves supplement. She's a lovely mare that needs a home.
19 year old Quarter Horse Mare
Lacey came to GSH as part of a large seizure of horses from Kingsbury County, South Dakota. She is bred for a summer 2019 foal. She is available for adoption with her foal Archie. She is available on her own after weaning. Potential registered name Gents Lacy Rocket.
13 year old Quarter Horse Mare
Dollie came to GSH as part of a large seizure of horses from Kingsbury County, South Dakota. She is halter broke and leads, but could use a refresher. We have not yet evaluated her training as she just returned to GSH Main from a foster in December. Potential registered name Lacy's Tee Dee Chick.
15 year old Quarter Horse Mare
Elsa came to GSH as part of a large seizure from Kingsbury County, South Dakota. She is believed to be Shes Daddys Legacy. She's a tall, leggy mare who is gaining weight nicely. As one of the thinner horses her job has been to eat so we haven't evaluated her training level yet.
2 year old Quarter Horse Mare
Bree came to GSH as part of a large seizure from Kingsbury County, South Dakota. She is a sweet yearling filly who can be shy by ultimately likes people. Bree has spent the summer of 2019 growing into herself and continues to shoot up! Bree will be reevaluated and put through groundwork training this spring.
10 year old Appaloosa Mare
Hope has recently returned to GSH from an adopter due to life changes. Hope is a beautiful Appaloosa mare who loves people and attention. Hope has had quite a bit of training under saddle and likes to go on trail rides. However, Hope does take a steady hand and would be best for a confident rider or at least with a family who could do tune up rides with her as needed.

20 year old Quarter Horse Gelding
Dillon came to GSH as part of a large seizure from Kingsbury County, South Dakota. He is friendly, good for farrier, and is reported to have training but has reacted poorly to attempts at riding him. Dillion is now up as a pasture pal to a home that would love to have a horse to love on but doesn't have the expectations to ride.
